Some don’ts to newbie’s who are going to open in radio broadcasting industry .

Don’ts

Don’t talk with your nose.

Make sure whatever you say should be come out of your throat. Nasal notes are not admired. Remember Nose have a different function for body. It takes less then a second the change a radio station.

Don’t be a Hooter !
Never tries to fright the microphone by shouting on it. Yaaahooo ! sounds good on internet. Yours announce level should be same as you normally speaks. Audiences stays tuned till your voice is approaching to them and they feel comfortable with it.

Don’t overlap your gifted voice

“Let the Michael sing the song while Ronaldo plays football”. [sandeep pokhriyal ]
Come-on man be natural else you will ruin your voice. Use your pitch so you can be more communicative & effective. Express yourself. Always project your natural voice.

Don’t Eat Words

You should always be crisp audible to you audience else you could easily won a first prize of best irritating personality on air. Have a conversation with you audience. Make them feel that you are in between them. Murmuring is strictly not allowed.

Don’t be in Hurry

You will have plenty of time for your presentation. Never appear in hurry to audience. Feel relax & make audience too. Don’t be a Rap Jockey.

Don’t be a lecturer

Well you have got the microphone but don’t play your lectures on your audience. Keep in mind audience are up for music and if you want stay them tuned give them most of it.
