Jagaran Institute of Management and Media Studies is offering Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism
This one-year course will train students to learn the skills in Television and Radio journalism. The broadcast journalism will teach students about the concept and process of communication. It will explain them the functions and theories of visual communication. As visuals from the critical input in Television Journalism, the students will be provided extensive training in understanding news through visuals.
Apart from newsgathering, the students will learn to produce the news with the help of graphics. They will undergo training for shooting with camera, Piece to Camera, Voice Over and News Anchoring.
Radio Broadcast is unique in style and effective in communication. Of late, the craze of radio has gone up considerably. The students will be trained to understand this medium and harness their skill to the craft of live reporting, news reading, radio jockeying and talk programs.
